Quoting lolajessup:" <blockquote><b>Quoting Moses.:</b>" At least 3 months for your body and immune system ... [snip!] ... you saying you get it even with the vax? I'm so lost. Yet again I'm gonna say why the heck do I come in these treads haha!!!"
This is the study with the mice. Government site btw, not some whackadoodle bias site http://www.cidd.psu.edu/research/synopses/acellular-vaccine-enhancement-b.-parapertussis I think another reason for the rise despite cocoon vaccinating being on the rise is it could put mothers in a false sense of security. "Oh so and so has had the DTaP, they are good to be around the baby." You can still pick up and pass the illness even while being vaccinated. The vaccination protects you, to decrease YOUR risk of contracting it. It doesn't instantly kill each germ with said illness any time it lands on you. You can still carry it around and pass it around without realizing. Proper hygiene and breastfeeding will always be the very best protection for your newborn, hands down.
