Is this TACKY?

Say you have a family, two kids (one step), a toddler and 4 yr old.
About 6 month ago, dad had surgery that took him out of work for a bit,
mom remained a SAHM.
At the time mom created a FaceBook page asking for monetary donations and for grocery donations, etc.

Now, mom has posted from her personal page asking for christmas gift donations, linking to a 4 page wishlist on Amazon with gifts ranging from $10-$60.

Would you find this tacky?

I don't know. Times are hard and some people are willing to help. I wouldn't feel comfortable doing it. Either they are desperate or like hand outs.

Thats so freakin tacky. Ya know, there are things called "jobs" that the rest of America have. That infuriates me.

Yes.mom needs to get a job!

I cOuld understand if she was trying with no luck or ifsomeone had to be with SO at all ties due g to the surgery but if he's well enough to take care if him and the kids at home then mom needs to get off her ads and take charge

Okay, good, ha, i couldn't tell if i was just being judgmental. my friend was telling me about it, and the girl doing it, it's not "surprising" but it still is kinda like...blegh. why?

I guess previously she was posting too that she isn't going to make this christmas about gifts and was just doing homemade gifts for the girls...then out comes this a couple days later, ha.

I literally just ran into her dude out shopping haha, that's what made it even more just...odd.
