I had similar problems with Keatyn, I went in at 40 weeks for a regular check up and to discuss an induction date I had blood drawn which made me sick and almost pass out, they monitored her heart rate and it was dropping into the 90s and clear up into the 200s! So they instantly said c section.. They manged to get her heart rate stabilized and I was in L&D with pitocin and I wouldn't dilate more than a 2 after hours and she wasn't tolerating it either, finally at 1 am they took me back for an emergency c section. I could only lay on my left side, if I moved the slightest bit her heart rate would drop drastically.

I am so happy little Mallory is here. Her amazing story continues in birth and first days of her life! She is going to have an amazing life and a great story of how she got here  I hope you are feeling better.

We were discharged Sunday afternoon (around 330) & today is officially day 2 at home. ALL of us   Thankfully she was discharged with us!

We had her baby appointment this morning & she's doing great. Because of the NICU situation & the fact I'm struggling with BF, we have a follow up appointment on Friday.

Any bf'ing questions you could ask here?

Well I saw the LC at the pedi yesterday & we have a follow up on Fri to see how things are going.

She latched on IMMEDIATELY for the LC. I have literally tried to BF with every feeding since & she will not latch   I don't know what the hell I'm doing differently than I did in the hospital when she latched beautifully. It's frustrating & it makes me want to cry because I feel like I should be able to do this but I can't.

Are you using pacis? Try rubbing her cheek until she opens her mouth. Squeeze your nipple down and shove it in while she is rooting. Maybe try taking a bath with her too. The bath will generally stimulate them enough to want to nurse.

Yeah, I'm using the soothie paci's. She'll like even get my boob in her mouth & then start screaming   I'm gonna try the cheek rubbing with the next feeding. Because I WANT to be able to BF. I don't necessarily have to EBF but to not have to pump more than I feed would be nice.
