what would they do

posted 8th Dec
if your scheduled for a csection and you go into labor on your own over a week before the scheduled csection? would they stop it til the csection date or do it then? if the csection wasnt for horrible medical reasons would there be a chance they could just let you go natural?

they just do the c-section earlier than planned.
I'm scheduled for the 18th and was told if I go into labor before then, then they just do the c-section early.

You can do a vbac but it can be dangerous and also depends on the doctors some wont risk it but ask your doctor

I see my ob doctor and midwife and at the last appointment it was my turn to see the midwife and she was concerned I was going to go into labor early and that the baby was still breached, so she asked my ob doctor what he wanted to do, and he said that if she goes into labor then we will just do the c-section no big deal!!! so in my case they will just end up doing the c-section if i end up going into labor and i'm assuming that is what they will do for most, but my doctor did ask me in the beginning if I wanted another c-section or to try for a VBAC i just said a scheduled c-section is much easier for me, I didnt want to spend 2 days in the hospital in labor for it to end in another c-section anyway!!!!
