I think it sounds like a good gift. We got dd a MLP that was like baby alive whenshe was 13 mos and she loved it.

no advice here just lurking but I think im ganna get one for my DD

Awesome. I was thinking DD may be too young for one. But guess not. She loves anything to do with babies.

I got My DD some dollerama bratz type dolls and a tinkerbell doll .. it all depends on there like age progress i guess, my DD is 19months

Nah shell love it   just don't give her the accessories that are choking hazards. That's what I do because usually when a toy is not age appropriate accordin to the box it's usually because of accessories.

I'm sure she'd like it.. we have the baby alive you feed bananas and give her a sippy and she asks for more.. it's cute   my oldest has the haircutting baby alive, that one is cute too.

My 5 yr old DS is dying for one. But I am leery on toys that poop themselves........

I think there's all diff ones that do diff stuff. Like there's a preschool one out. Idk what it does. But she has a backpack and stuff. So cute.

the ones we have do not poop themselves. that is disgusting, i'd never buy one that did.

Oh, well ignore me. I thought there was just one that pooped and peed. My son is baby obsessed. He says he wants one so he can take care of it like a "real" baby. Maybe I will look into getting him one as a last minute gift if I can find one that really doesn't poop!

LOL I am so behind in dolls. My daughter is 9, and my son is just now really into them. My MIL got DD one when she was 3 and it really did "poop" itself   It was horrible.

haha well they still do make them like that! so i guess be careful which one you buy lol
