must be nice my doctors didn't believe in induction unless I was 41 weeks.

Why not wait 4 weeks? It makes no sense to wait 3 weeks & not 4.

regardless, it could be the same situation with this baby as well. just because they come at 39 weeks doesn't mean there won't be complications.

i'm in so much freaking pain and so exhausted, i'm due in a week and i'm not even considering induction until i'm 41 weeks.

They don't say baby is fully developed at 39 weeks, that is the minimum to take a baby out in emergency cases. No one knows when each baby is fully developed, but most babies do better at their due date then before.

i would just wait.. as much as it sucks... you dont want to risk any complications for ur LO.   they induced me the day after my due date..and i regret letting them do it then even... my body wasnt ready & after cytotec & 12hrs on pitocin... i never dialated past 1cm so i had to have a c section b/c my water was broken...the c section was hell..and i know if i woulda made them wait just another week or so he wouldve came on his own. & now b/c of my previous c section i have to have another(well they recommended it) ..hang in there!!
