Damn you DH, damn you

Around 7:30 this morning DH told me he had some things he had to do and he would be home in about 2 hours. A little over an hour goes by and he comes home with breakfast from McDonalds, sweet I dont have to cook. He then tells the kids he forgt something very special in the van and he would be right back. You wanna know what he "forgot" a damn puppy!!!! He bought a 9 week old standard poodle. She is adorable and super swet and of course the kids instantly fell in love. I know he was just trying to do something sweet and I'm nt mad at him but geez I wish he would have asked me first. He works 45-55 hours a week so that will basically leave me with the kids and house training a puppy by myself. I love DH but he drives me batsmurf sometimes lol

I can't believe he didn't ask you first, that is a huge deal!

Awwe. But thats being such a man to do skmething that impulsive without considering the consequences to you. Guess what DH gets to do every night when he gets home? Haha

Hahahah. I can't help but laugh. After my dog died, my husband brought home another puppy. They were giving them for free on the side of the road and all he saw was black fur, like my last puppy......I was so mad at him because the dog was going to be a HUGE dog and I had to re-home it.

Sorry, but I just giggled a little. Too funny. Sounds like a "man" for ya though. Hope he doesn't regret it later LOL

Yeah he could tell I wasn't thrilled about it, you're right it is a huge deal. I told him we can keep it as long as he knows when he's at home he has to be the one to take it out and he has to take it to work for training classes, he's a manager of Petsmart so we get 2 free 6 week training courses. I should have known something was up when he said he had something to do that early lol. He keeps telling "I'm sorry but I just couldn't pass her up and look how happy the kids are" I swear that man is gonna get beat one of these days lol
