Does this come with apps, and are apps downloadable?

I was looking in to getting dd one for Christmas and decides to go with the leappad 2.

We just got DD a Tabeo one from toys r us. I think that's the only place that has them. It's educational and also like a real tablet. And can have strict parental controls as well.

Yeah we were hoping to spend about $100 and it was $150. We ended up just going for it cuz the other tablets need games etc bought for them for different age groups etc and this one you never have to buy anything. 50 preloaded apps plus you can download more. It might not be for everyone though. Hope you find what you're looking for! =)

The leappad 2 does come with like 5 or so apps like a art studio, and yes you can download games off of the leapfrog site. At Walmart it's 99.00

We got my daughter the InnoTabS2 and she loves it. There are more you can download (on their website plus you can buy them in the store) They have books and "apps" to download, when you buy it and register it you get a couple of free downloads.

for the leappad you can buy bundles that will come with a game.. but when we got the original leappad it came with stuff already on it and we could choose a mini app for free

i got my DD that for christmas, we havent opened it yet tho so i am not sure if it comes with apps. Im sure it does, if not they will have directions with ways to get them.
