If your ON or WAS on the birth control patch...

I just started the patch this past Wend. after having the Mirena IUD for 2.5 years. Thursday morning I woke up with the most nagging headache I believe I have ever had, and hasn't gone since. I feel so mixed up in emotions. Like one minute I'm thinking of good things, then within a second I almost have to stop myself from crying. I have so much rage, like I could punch a bitch out!

My questions, if your on it or was on it, did you feel this way? Did it go away? If so, how long after? I just feel like the hormones are FAR too much in my body.

I got on the pill after I had LO and stopped breastfeeding at 16 months. And that same thing happened to me, plus my hair started falling out. I waited 3 months and the symptoms did get a little better but I was so freaked out that something I'm voluntarily taking could make me react that way, lol. So, I stopped and haven't been on anything in 2 years.

I don't remember having those symptoms but I hated the patch. Plus that's how I ended up. With baby #3

i had horrid migraines on it, upset stomach and bad mood swings i only used it one month before is switched back to the pill!

When I called to talk about my BC, the nurse said they like you to wait 3 months for your body to get used to it.

That's how any hormonal birth control makes me feel. When I need birth control I go with the mini pill.

Maybe I should get back on the mini pill. It's better than nothing right? Do you bleed while on it? I was on it while breastfeeding and got off of it at 13 months and ovulated two days later then had my first pp period.

With any type of BC I've tried its done this to me. My body just can't handle it

When I was breastfeeding it took 14 months for AF to come back but when it did it was very regular every month. I took it from 6 weeks PP until about 2 yrs PP and then I kinda stopped taking it because I was sick of remembering every day lol
