Son's G.I doc scolded me and says its my fault.....

that hes "falling off the charts"
my 1.5 year old is 20lbs 9.5oz. he has severe reflux and esophigitis.
He eats like a cow...every meal...so i don't see how it's my fault. we have been daily giving him his proton pump inhibitor meds..
I think it maybe a absorption problem...but dr wants to go ahead and do surgery to fix esophageal sphincter.
Does anyone else have reflux babies who are underweight? what was course of action?

they had me put cereal in his bottle to help and he gained weight quick and now he has outgrown it

my baby is almost 16 months doesnt have reflux problems but she dont even weigh 20 pounds and she eats all the time.. so i dont think its your fault.. maybe the dr for not looking into it sooner..

i used to do that. but now he's too old for bottles. and the stupid straw cups clog up so easily
