Buying a new car-suggestions?

I want space, specs, safety, and good on gas.

Car or SUV. NO Vans.

I have a 2006 Durango. It's not great on gas, but is roomy as hell. I don't have third row, so it seats 5 with a crap ton of storage and leg room. The seats are "rock and tumble", which I like. It's always used when we go out of town because the ride is so smooth. I can't vouch for any other models, as 06 is the only one I've owned. But yeah, strongly suggest Dodge.

Nissan Murano.

I love mine.

I have a chevy equinox and LOVE it! I want a traverse now, bigger and I Just love them! For 40,000 you could get a loaded one too!

No, I bought mine back in 2010, and it was a 2006. I have the screen and everything in the front, but no cameras. I love it because the screen tells me if anything needs to be done, mileage, stuff like that.
I love the way it drives, I love the interior, I love everything about it.

I want one of these so bad! Hubs insists we get the backup camera though. I wonder if it's as easy as the other ones I've used.

Subaru...any of them! AWD, good on gas, reliable and you can run them into the ground! my 2001 impreza has 218k miles on it and it runs like a top!

I know right?! He's convinced we have to have it. I only ever used it in my work vehicles which obviously I didn't buy. I thought the beeping was so annoying!!!!! I wanted to rip the stupid thing out of the dash.

If only I could convince him! To be fair to technology I will say it was one of the earliest backup camera things and they've probably improved. But it would think everything was something a leaf, a shadow, anything! It was so frustrating!
