Things to do to get rid of the 'blubber'

posted 7th Dec
Hahahaha. Seriously.
I'm breastfeeding , and I know that's supposed to help get your body back into shape, but what about this???

I'm 11 days PP so I know it will take awhile, and I'm not looking for an overnight fix, but what exercises/stretches can I do to focus on my lower stomach? Anything I can do before the 6 week mark? I gained 30 lbs with my son and am back down 17 lbs already but the 'flab' is killing me...
Please no bashing, this is super embarrassing and it took a lot for me to post this :S

Tight lace a corset. It keeps your back straight, reduces the amount you can eat comfortably, and tightens your abdominal muscles because you have to use them.

My personal trainer told me i can do all the sit up and crunches in the world and still wont lose my belly. He told me it's all about your diet.He told me to stop eating fried foods and eat alot of baked chicken with brown rice and he said he'll guaranteed my belly would shrink.Green tea also helps melt belly fat.

Nothing you can do right now. You don't want to put any strain on your stomach. Plus, I'm pretty sure your uterus has srunk down yet so that can cause the bump

Looots of fruits and veggies are natural "detox" foods that will help cut down on belly fats too, OP!

I was told a corset was actually worse because it KEPT you from using your abdominal muscles? Hmm.. Definitely researching that!

The only thing I have had after having him that was a "no-no" food were some mashed potatoes..other than that my diet is extremely healthy! I changed it when I was pregnant with him and just stuck to it. Makes me feel better. I really don't even eat too much fruit (other than grapefruit) because of the sugar!

That's partly your uterus. Give it time to go back down. Green tea and diluted apple cider vinegar are good fat burners. You're only 11 days PP so just chill out.

I've worn a corset every day since I was 16. I swear by them! I even wore a maternity corset.
