am i wrong?

My daughters due in like 8 weeks and her father or any of his family has had nothing to do with me since i got pregnant. When i first found out they were going around spreading rumors that its not his and that im a whore and a whole bunch of crap. Which none is true i was with my ex for 2 years and i was always faithful. Well they havent bought one baby thing, havent asked if i needed anything didnt even show up to the baby shower and now his grandparents are asking me if they can see her when shes born. As in taking her to their house with out me. I said no. Absolutly not. They have 7 dogs and they live like slobs his grandmother is a horder. His uncle lives there and he grows weed in the house and he sells it and he sells pills. My ex wont even meet her hes is prison. I told them if they want to see her they can come to my house but im only allowing his grandparents. And they have yo let ne know ahead of time and ot cant be an everyday thing. They dont like the idea and are quite pissed. I dont think im wrong im just trying to protect my daughter. Am i wrong?

Personally, I would probably feel the same way. If my DH's family didn't want anything to do with me while I was pregnant and was spreading rumors about me, I wouldn't care if they wanted to see the baby.

They didnt attemp to get ahold of ne i called them to come pick up some of my exs things. And then they asked. They didnt even know i was having a girl.

I don't think you're wrong. If they want to all of a sudden be in her life when she's born I would definitely have a conversation with them as to why they've acted they way they have, though.
And I agree- I wouldn't want my daughter in that environment, either. So if they want to see the baby they can come to me.

I don't think your wrong, I did the same thing if they wanted to see her they could come to my house or to the park ect where I would stay and know she is safe.

I guess im just to nice im really causious about it tho because eveb his grandparents start so much unnessary drama. I just dont know.

great you should ... my son goes over to his other grandparents house .. for one day the whole day.. they don;t like me .. talk smurf about me but they love my son so am ok with it

Nope your not wrong, your nicer than me I wouldnt let them even come to my house either.

Exactly the funny part was after i told them that they got pissed and said never mind we will have to think about it. Which is really sketchy to me..

Its her great grand parents. And i just dont know why they want to see ger they dont even think she is my exs so its sketchy.

What?! That's bullsmurf- they're smurfing wishy washy and I seriously don't know if I could handle that. They sound like the type to pick and choose when to be in your daughter's life, and honestly that could hurt her more than not having them at all.
