Ok first of all I know all of what you're telling me I am going to try for a vaginal delivery. However if I go for my us at 39wks and it says he is weighing 10lbs and I don't feel right going vaginal then I will have a c section. Everyones prefrences are different. I would like to have a vaginal delivery but like I said I trust my Dr he has been deliverying babies for over 40yrs and has also delivered 10 babies in my family and I know he wouldn't stear me wrong. Thank you for the input anyways  .

I'm glad you feel comfortable with him

Thats what happened to my bd mom, they didnt or couldnt weigh them by ultrasound because technology wasn't very advanced, but they guestimated him to weigh maybe 9 at most...he was 12 pounds after she couldn't vaginally birth him, and she had him via c section. Good luck I hope you can have your baby vaginally right at or right inder 7 pounds if possible!

it is a breath of fresh air to hear someone say they actually trust their doctor   so many on here are Dr. Googles and trust internet sites over someone who is medically trained ... I love my OB, and my family physician. They are the ones who went to school for 10 plus years and have many many years of experience in delivering babies!

It doesn't change anything. They estimated Aiden to be 9lbs a week before I had him. He was born at 6lbs 9oz. They can be way off.

I believe that I said they can be off and I know that. Like I said I'm going to try vaginally but if I don't feel right about it or it doesn't work I'm not going to be dissapointed. Everyone has their own preference and makes their own choices and I feel really good about my Drs decission on whatever it is he wants to do.   I actually just got out of the hospital with high blood pressure and contractions so I have a feeling they are going to induce or a c section soon anyways. I'm waiting for my 24hr urine test to come back sometime today but now I am on bed rest for the time being.
