yes. Both people in the partnership should be accomplished and be able to support themselves and children if needed.

I agree. I think it is stupid and naive to think that nothing can happen, he can't ever cheat, die or leave.

The only time I support a woman sahm is if she's had a great career, has her own money and education. I think girls these days do things way out of order and I know too many BG moms divorced by 23 with no work experience and education to speak of.

I think she needs to worry about herself and mind her own business when it comes to what other women do. Life goes on, smurf happens, you make it work regardless of what you have prepared for or not.
