Did they adopt these children all at once, do you know? I just seems like poor judgement to immediately fall into the role of mom to 3 and then have my husband deploy and deal with everything and the adjustment all by myself. I can see where that would be extremely stressful - and it's totally not an excuse for abusing the children, but it feels like something they should have thought about and planned for,

From what I understand all at once, they had 5 kids and 3 of them were abused (the three who were adopted) and the other two took part in the abuse.

That's insane! Those poor babies. I seriously hope those older children get some therapy and don't grow up to be abusers, too.

I can't seem to be able to grasp why people adopt then abuse or neglect the kids

It's crazy. I understand that when you have your first child you may not know what your in for and you may be stressed, but abuse it another thing. And she already had two kids! One article says she shot them when BB guns.

The first time DH met LO LO hit him in the knees with a bottle lol. We've had a joke since then that LO is going to take his knees out one day. They've been wrestling every since lol

If he did not know that the abuse was going on, than he should not be charged. I feel bad for him and those children.  

Uh, no. I can't believe that's even a question =/ Imagine how you would feel if you were in that situation.

Hopefully he'll have a decent lawyer who can get him off. He shouldn't be convicted of anything.
