Normal or beginning of infection?

So I'm five days PP and after delivering my son my midwife put in one stitch. The day before yesterday DS was playing and crawled through my legs and pushed them pretty far apart and since then I've been a little more sore than I was before.
Well, this stitch is now driving me nuts. It feels mildly uncomfortable and makes sitting unpleasant unless I position myself so I'm not really putting pressure on it. It's pretty damn itchy, too, and the only thing I can really do is using the squirt bottle thing (which doesn't help for very long). I finally decided to try to feel it and it feels like it's sticking out slightly.
This is the only time I've ever gotten stitches omitting when I had DS and I was one big ball of pain then and don't remember much.
Is this normal or should I be looking to call my OB on Monday?

If you can have your Husband look at it, have him see if it looks swollen, or is irritated looking. Itching and a little pain is normal though, it does that while it's healing.
