Like 10 minutes tops.

The doctor wasn't prepared at all either. They were breaking down the bed and she was rushing to get her gloves on and DD's head was like out already. SO and my mom both say the nurses told me to stop pushing but I don't remember that lol.

I hate when they ask you to stop pushing! You're body I making you push with contractions so its even more painful to stop pushing. I'd keep pushing through a contraction if the only issue is that they're not ready. Someone is catching my baby!

Hours and hours, I think it was about 4. They were really close to giving me a c-section.

My aunt told me that when she had her second, she was just sitting up to start pushing and he basically started sliding out. the nurses kept yelling at her to stop pushing, and she was like "I'm not!" The imagery in it is hilarious.

Right under 4 hours. We opted for a vacuum delivery because she was lodged in there & just wouldn't come out.

haha like I said, I didn't even hear them. I just kept on pushing. It felt so much better than the contractions and by that point I was done, I had been having contractions (no epi) for over 30hours... It was time for her to come out! haha

Seriously! Your body is the one contracting and pushing the baby out on its own. I'd dare my dr tell me that while he's Down there, he'd get a kick in the face.

2Hr 15 min. I blame it on them telling me to push before I was even a full ten as well as being on my back and having an epidural. This time will be much different if I can help it.

I wonder if that's why you ended up pushing for so long.

I was just shocked to hear the dr say most first time moms push for upwards of 3 hours. That just sounds…..crazy painful!

Exactly 10 minutes with my first. And like 1 with my second. My doctor was amazed so were the nurses they thought I'd be pushing for much longer

It very well could be, I was damn lucky and I know it. He was a pretty big kid though and ripped me up bad. My second I pushed for less than 10 minutes and with the third it was about 2ish hours.
