Are they? I hadn't seen anything about them being unsafe! We used one with DS when he was younger.

We used it for about the same amount of time. It was the only way he could get comfortable. We used the inclined one because he had AR pretty bad.

Baby should be fine. My son has slept on his belly since a week old. If he can roll then he will be fine. I sure wouldn't wanna get up 20 million times to flip him back over lol.

Most store dont even sell them anymore..but when i was pregnant and got loads of reading material from the hospital and in the mail..everything warns against them. Now they tell you to put folded towels or something under the mattress if your baby need a recline or something like that

I've never heard of that. I've heard of putting the whole bed on an incline but manipulating the mattress like that is dangerous.

I've never heard that. It seems like it would be unstable.

You;d just hafta be smart about it i i could see it being dangerous if you stack a rediculous amount of stuff under it.But i've never done it...tho the pedi suggested it when my son had a cold. they do make wedges to go under the mattress i believe. Nothing but baby is suppose to be in the crib.

If he turns his head and sleeps on his cheek, i wouldmt be scared. As a precaustion, put a fan in the room to circulate the air. and make sure there arent any sheets, pillows, blankets or other item that can get near his face.
