I'm more of a Thomas Paine girl. Common Sense is a must read about once a month for me. I like tj, but Paine is awesome.

My BIN isn't college material. He has a learning disability as well as a behavioral health issues. He is still going to a trade school to learn to weld.

And I know it would never happen. The liberal in me would feel for the children of those who refuse to help themselves if strings were ever attached to welfare. I don't think a child should ever have to feel chronic hunger or live on the streets, especially if they have dumbsmurfs for parents.. Still, the idea is an ideal. In a perfect world people would want to better themselves and rise above poverty.

Yes. It's hard to know that there are so many kids of dumbs smurfs out there. You wonder how the cycle of being a dumb smurf will ever get broken.

No I think there are generous people in BOTH parties. I always notice you have a hard time admitting when you are proven wrong, which shows a lot about your character as a person  .

I never denied that there are generous individuals in each party. But liberals love to brag about how much they like helping the poor while simultaneously denouncing conservatives for being evil rich people who only care about themselves.

Oh, but it's ok for liberals to stereotype. Right?
