How many ounces was your baby eating at a week? He went from 2 ounces to 3-4 ounces in a couple days.

DS ate 2 oz for a good while, I think he went up to 3-4 oz at around 4 months. It really depends on the baby.

LOL my son also ate more frequently. He would eat the 2 oz., be content and wouldn't want anymore, then an hour and a half-two hours later he'd be hungry again.

Mines almost 8 weeks and it ranges from 4-6oz. Sometimes she happy with just the 4oz but others she wants that little extra. She pretty much started with 4oz. She was breast fed at first then was in the hospital for a while and I pumped. She would eat 2 bottles of pumped milk which equaled about 4oz. So when I stopped Bfing and went to formula that was my starting point.

My kids were like that. When they came home from the hospital they were eating 3-4 ounces..By the time my daughter was 6 months she would only eat 5-6 ounces every 6 hours...She was a pain to feed.
