C-section and sex

How long after did you wait til havimg sex. My man says he is "dying" lol.

4-5 weeks I think
I wanted to wait til I was done bleeding and wasn't very sore anymore

4 weeks with my first after doctor's okay (cervix was already closed.)
After 6 weeks with my second because I remembered how bad it hurt doing it for the first time after my first.

I've had 2 & only waited about 2 weeks.

I waited until my post op appt to get the all clear. The last thing you want to do is open up any internal layer. When you are stitched back together it is done in layers. At any time any of them can pop open. That is why you are on a restricted weight limit to lift and physical activity is limited to walking.

Your man can take care of himself or you can find other ways to satisfy him.  

You want to wait until your cervix is completely closed to greatly reduce the risk of infection (around 6 weeks).
I didn't have a c-section, but had a really rough recovery from my vaginal birth, and we didn't have sex until 4 months pp.

Just want to add that you need to ask your OB when you can have sex again. Getting intimate too soon can result in the incision not healing properly and an infection in the uterus if your cervix isn't closed.

He wouldnt have sex with me while being pregnant so now he is ready and I told him too bad im not lol

With all three I waited till my 8 week post op and I got the ok from my OB.

we waiting untill 5weeks6days after! lol. fooled about before then but nothing penetrative.
No one ever told me how long to wait i just went by what I'd read on line. most things i read said to wait between 5-6 weeks. x

He wouldn't have sex with you while you were pregnant? Well, serves his ass right that he has to wait now. lol

I have tried it twice two weeks after my C-Section it didn't hurt but I was to scared to move all around. And yeah I was still bleeding so I wasn't too into it. My man is dyeing too without it but I told him no more till the bleeding stops I can't enjoy it.

I waited 4-5, after I had already quit bleeding.

As soon as we found out babys sex he just felt awkward about it. It made me feel like crap. Like he didnt find me attractive anymore

Then I say, ride it out!!! lol You shouldn't have sex until your Dr clears you anyway. You did have major surgery.
