receiving blankets....

I just relized I really haven't used any of the receiving blankets for my daughter at all...she is 7 months old and we probably used them 5 times...and I have like 15 of them.lol what the heck did you guys use them for bcuz I don't see a point...besides having a light blanket...but she already had light blankets and ask for when she was burped she wore a bib. Idk random thought.

I use them as diapers. They make wonderful, CUTE flats.

I think some people use them as cloth diapers.

We didn't use a lot of ours either. If I left them in packs I regifted them  

I used my as spit up blankets and face wipers lol

I use them as thin blankets for when he's in his carseat.

I really didnt need any that i had with my first either so i didnt buy any for this one. Id use them mayne to put over her legs if we were going somewhere and it was a little chilly. Thats about it.

spit up rags for us... I have other cloth diapers if i need them.

I keep one with my diapers when we go out and use it when changing the kids. As a cover if I forget to bring a blanket to nurse the baby (or if it is super hot out). Wipe up spit up. I used one for dusting/cleaning once   I think that is about it. I have a ton I was going to sell(some new and a lot from my aunt from her kids) but I may make a quilt out of them for my kids since I don't plan on having another any time soon.

I used mine to swaddle him when he was extra tiny. When he got too big for that I used them as burp cloths, and I put them over my bra when he nursed to keep my clothes from getting completely soaked. Now I'll use them as a light blanket if it's too warm for a big one.

I used it to:

Swaddle
Burp rag
Cover car seat to shade from sun
Light blanket to cover him up in carseat

I use them to swaddle. But I have the bigger ones I love them. I also use them to wipe spit up off her face if a burp rag is not in reach. Or I lay one on the floor for her to lay on or do tummy time.

all of this but the swaddle, my LOs where too big to be swaddled in the blankets I have. And during the summer when it was too hot it made for a nice cool blanket if they needed to be covered
