She hates tummy time...

My DD will be 7 months on the 10th and she seriously hates tummy time. I'm scared that she won't crawl because she won't stay on her tummy and she barely rolls over! Any suggestions?

Don't worry about it... My daughter started "crawling" at 9 months, but she doesn't REALLY crawl... she scoots her bum and waves her hands in the air to get to where she wants to go. lol

Dont worry. I have a 10 month old who wont stand or pull herself up on anything, but loves to crawl and she sits up. She will do it when ready.

Let her whine when on her tummy until she starts really crying.

Get down with her and play with a cool toy...your cell phone will work, too.

Try to prop her with pillows.

Get a mirror and have her look at herself while on her tummy.

That's all the "tricks" I did.

But unless her pedi is concerned, she will get the hang of it eventually. Just keep putting her on her tummy any time she is on the floor.

I have a 2 month old that also doesnt like tummy time. So i have a front facing camera on my phone if i put that on will that work n how high do i put it for her to c it cuz she likes to look at herself.
