Alright so I don't feel so weird lol. DH is going to one of his friend's party here and I'm chilling with my best friend who lives far away. We both like to drink, but if I go with him I have to find a babysitter which is next to impossible on New Year's Eve. If I go out with my friend, my mom already said she'll watch both of the kids.
Our marriage has been really rocky as of late so I don't give too big of a smurf, but still....I never heard of a married couple spending a big holiday apart until now.

That's what I'm hoping. I'm actually leaving a couple days before Christmas to spend time with my mom and my friends. The kids are coming with me so hopefully a few days to himself will snap him out of this douche-phase.
