mucus plug?

Is the loss of the mucus plug usually a sign of labor is coming soon? Had my morning pee and there was a spoonful (for lack of a better measurement) or two of discharge that definitely had a blood tinge to it. Is the end coming?

Maybe, maybe not. Mucus plug can regenerate.

Not unless it continually increases and gets bloodier and bloodier. Then that would be a sign of continued dilation. The blood is from the veins in your cervix rupturing from dilation.

ive lost piecs of me a few times. still nothing.

Well, my water broke within an hour of posting this. 13 hour labor with only 20 minutes of pushing. Baby was 4 weeks early, but over 8lbs. Ob said if he would have came on time that he could have been 11lbs. Guess body knows best.

Dang!!! My water broke 5 days after I lost mine but I was only 29 weeks
