I did it every day, kept a log of it, same time each morning...etc etc.

It stressed me out, made me feel paranoid, and made me even more sad each month that I didn't get a BFP. Keeping that detailed of a record just was not for me! You can also plug it all into websites like fertility friend, I think.

no you have to do it everyday in order to get an accurate reading.

You take you temp the same time everymorning before getting out of bed
BUT i used to walk to my bathroom ( without openeing my mouth lol) and go pee and stick the Therm in my mouth and then get my temp, and chart it later that day. sometimes i would do it a few days before ovulation and then everyday till i started or got pregnant.

they say you need to be just waking up to do the reading because moving around or opening your mouth or anythign will change the results. i was able to pin poin ovulation that way.

I did it orally. I had zero desire to wake up, roll over, and vaginally get my basal temp. That was not gonna happen.

i didi it orally but my mouth is always closed when k sleep. i read if you mouth is open, you should do it vaginally
