what does your 11 month old eat?

posted 7th Dec
My lo turned 11 months old on 12/5. She eats a 8 to 10 oz bottle every 4 hours or so 4 to 5 times a day. She eats 1 to 2 jars of baby food or homemade baby food 2 to 3 times a day. She does not like water or fresh diluted juice.

She will eat a handful of rice puffs. We do blw but won't eat anything but chicken or turkey normally. She doesn't like many homemade foods or purees. She refuses a sippy cup.

Idk how to get her to eat more and stop relying on milk. She eats almost all jar foods. But I still do stage 1. No meat mixtures or singles. I think the jar meats are nasty. She will chew any fruit or veggie slice but if its cooked she just plays with it.

I think she is about 21 lbs now.
At 9 months she was 18.8 lbs ans 28.5 inches long. She isn't fat or even chunky at all. She has no rolls but is in 18 month clothes bc of her length.

My LO would eat the jar meats if mixed with a veggie. Have you tried that?

my first dd was like that i just let her have the bottles until\l i was confident she was eating enough food, she will gradually eat more when she is ready to, just keep offering it to her eventually she will be ready.
i dont have this problem however with my dd that is 11 months old now she only has three bottles a day and eats anything i put in front of her

Ooh yuck no. I think they are gross. She eats cooked meat pieces but I use pasture fed, cage and grain free meat.

She loves meat though no problem there lol

Jeez, makes me feel like my daughter is a real chunky monkey haha. A usual day for us is like this:
9 AM- Wake up and nurse, then once we get out of bed she eats 2 pieces of raisin bread or a container of the baby yogurt.
10:30 AM- Eats a bowl full of puffs or some cut up fruit
11 AM- Nurse and nap
12 PM- 2 cut up chicken strips probably like half a cup of shredded cheddar cheese or sometimes she will just have a container of baby food, usually a vegetable
2:30 PM- Nurse and nap
4 PM- more puffs or fruit or crackers
5:30-6:30 PM - She eats an entire graduates toddler meal whether it's raviolis or the mac and cheese/carrots and peas, etc while I'm cooking and then eats a good portion of whatever I make to eat.
8:30 PM - Nurse while i rock her to sleep and she's out without wanting to nurse until the morning.
She drinks water out of a sippy during the day too. She turned 11 months on November 27th and is only 19 pounds. She just eats like a pig O.O

Well I just got 21 boxes of organic baby formula from Germany that took 3 months to get in so I guess she will get formula for a few more months lol. She mainly has food texture issues I think and I wanted her to.be off the bottle at 12 months but it doesn't look like it is going to happen.

Haha yet your daughter weighs more, crazy! Maybe it really is a texture thing. DD didn't like mashed potatoes the first few times we tried and now she eats the crap out of some potatoes. You said she eats meat fine right? I would just keep trying different foods with different textures and she what she likes. I don't honestly think my DD has ever actually turned down a single thing she's been offered...

AJ had all bottles until he was literally one year. He'd get baby food once or twice a day, if that. Once he hit 12 months, I gave him a sippy and started giving him meals. He was off the bottle completely two days after he turned one. Sometimes a switch just goes off that tells them they're ready.

Mine was 10 months on 12/4 but she has 10oz bottles every 3 hrs, and only eats table foods. I did homemade baby foods for a while, but now its still homemade but just regular foods, pasta chicken steak beef etc....

I freeze it still tho, for days we eat something that I dont want her to eat, kwim? like frozen pizza or something. She drinks 2 cups of whole milk a day on top of her formula.

Today so far has been.

Oatmeal with apples and cinnamon, milk, 10oz of formula. Toast with pb on it. Avocado with yogurt.

Her snack was frozen pineapple and some puffs, then some banana and a 10oz bottle.

Its only 10:30am.
