couple of quick questions

posted 7th Dec
1st is a CD question. my inserts came with 2 in each diaper. is this to mean that you can leave the same diaper on somehow and just change the insert, or are they meant more as backup in case some have to be soaked or something?

2nd this might sound stupid but, is it ok for DD to be pooping turds (sorry tmi) at 6.5 months? i know its pretty normal when eating solids but should i worry about back up, seeing as how she's had minor stomach issues since birth.

Extra inserts are for when you need diaper to hold more (over night, car trips, etc). So, 1 insert for day, 2 at naps/bedtime, etc.

Poops are very individual and based on kind if food (solids, breast milk, soy, formula, etc), age, amount of food, amount of time between feeds/poops, and such. MY son ate a ton of table food but still pooped peanut-butter or thinner til age 2 when I FULLY weaned him from breast.

Are they pockets? If so it would be so you could use 2 at once. For like nap or bedtime when there would be a longer period of time between changing. If its a hybrid/ai2 and then it could be you just swap the liner and keep the cover if it isnt wet. Just depends on the type of diaper.
As for the poop if its hard nuggets and she seems to be straining or has a hard tummy it might be an issue. If its just more formed poop I wouldn't worry. Poop changes as they get older and diets change.

its more of more formed. she has had to strain at times since she was about a month old. i stopped bf at 3 wks. we've had to change her formula multiple times

I went through that with my oldest it was a nightmare. Straining is normal unless its like screaming and crying and obvious pain.
