Well that would be a nice bday present or you.
I'm hoping my LO waits until after Xmas. It's my sisters bday on the 22nd....she's a bit of a cow and we don't get along, so fingers crossed baby can wait until after that day lol. And besides, my daughter already shares a birthday with my brother 22nd January.

thats cute :-) even if she comes before or after my birthday it will just be a early or belated birthday present. i always wanted a daughter. and since i have a son already its perfect he kisses my stomach and talks about his baby sister all the time. its cute. he is gonna be a good big brother i always wanted the boy first cause i got a big bro and he is protective and a good role model to me. i always looked up to him.

That is cute. My brother and sister are both older then me. My sister and I don't get along at all (she's got middle child syndrome lol) but my brother and I get along heaps well. I always wanted a boy first, but it didn't happen that way. My daughter looks after my son though, and we don't know what this one is going to be, but I know he will be an awesome big brother either way.

Baby Dallas is due Jan. 13th but my bday is Jan. 2nd! I don't think this little guy will wait until his due date though. Been having tons of pains and BH contractions lately. I just have a nagging feeling he'll be here sooner.....which sucks because my doctor is on medical leave for the next 2-3 weeks! >.<

I was brought in to be induced on the 24 th, after examinations dr spoke tonme about a csection. I had high blood pressure, extremely swollen and my pelvic bones were not opening? She was too big and did not drop. csection performed xmas day, my little xmas gift was born at 7:43 am. Recovery hasnt been too bad, just that first night was HELL, it hurt alot to even try and move to get up. Walked a bit and my bp dropped extremely due to pain. But it was worth it! I love my big bby girl. She's a chunker. 8 lbs 15 oz 21 inches at birth now she is almost ten lbs! Hiw about you?

Aww I'm sorry you had to have a c section. But it would have been a great Xmas present
I was having contractions on and off all day on the 28th, had my 39week appointment, they said I was fully engaged, but didn't check me to see if I was dilated or thinning. When I got home they had stopped completely.
Around 2:30am on the 29th my son came into bed with us, so I got up for my routine toilet break and noticed that I had lost my mucous plug. Didn't think nothing of it and went back to bed. I couldn't really sleep, coz my mind kept thinking that something was going to happen. Then at 4:20am I heard/felt this pop. Iv read on here heaps that women have said they could hear/feel when their water broke, so I thought I better get up and go to the bathroom. When I stood up I felt a gush, quickly walked to the bathroom and more was just gushing out. Woke up SO and packed up the kids things and dropped them at their grand parents. Got to the hospital around 5:45am. The nurse checked me at 5cm but said she could stretch me to an 8. I had some gas, then the contractions were getting stronger. Around 8am I asked for an epi, but she said I wouldn't have time. 8:20 she checked me again but I was only an 8. 8:29 I told her i needed to push, and then it was like my body took over and started pushing all on its own. I had no control over it at all. All I remember was the midwife and SO yelling at me to stop as I wasn't fully dilated, then next thing I know there was a baby plonked on my chest.
I didn't need any stitches and there was no tearing or grazing....so I was pretty lucky
What did you name your lil girl? Is she sleeping and settling ok for you?

Natural birth and no tearing, lucky you! And congrats!! Her name is Gillian Marie, and she is a champ at night sleeping( well getting there). Ofcourse it was hard at first, now she goes to sleep around midnight, and wont wake up till 5 am. She is getting better at staying awake during the day, so maybe thats helping. How about your LO?

That's great! Are you breast feeding or formula feeding?
Mason is getting there, still all trial and error. I can't really complain though. He sleeps feed to feed (4 hours) during the night. He's a lil more unsettled during the day, but I'd rather that. I'm trying to get him onto a 6 10 2 schedule. But sometimes he will want a feed 3hours during the day instead of every 4, so he keeps stuffing that plan up for me lol

I'm breastfeeding and doing formula aswell. She latches on most of the time just for comfort..? But the formula is what gets her full. How about you?

I was breast feeding, but am now formula feeding. I find he sleeps/settles heaps easier. When I was breast feeding, he would only take 10min naps at a time....I felt like I was going insane lol
