What's the longest you've gone without taking a shower? How old were you & why?

1 week I was 21 and in a medically induced coma. It was wine of the first things I did when I could though. My sister gave me sponge baths and a pedicure while I was out though and she hates feet

5 days when I was 17. I broke my neck in a car accident. And wasn't allowed to sit up or get out of bed.

Hahaha. I think I went about 5 days when my DS was a newborn. A mixture of exhaustion, depression and laziness. Thankfully I didn't make a habit of it lol. I dunno how anyone can honestly, I feel 50 times happier/more alert/prettier/better after a nice long shower.

a week and a half on several occasions. When my family went camping in the mountains in New Mexico, back in 1999 when we went to move our house from one town to another and out in the country, it rained 8in and the truck hauling the house got stuck and we had to stay in a one room shack for several weeks but luckily I was able to find someones house in town right after school that let me go take a shower after the week and a half, and after I had my son, my husbands work schedule got switched where he was asleep by the time I got up with the baby and woke up just in time to go back to work. Our son was just born and I was scared to take a shower and leave him alone, even if I put him in the bathroom with me. But my hubby is military and got put on 12's for two weeks, but my mom came down to stay with us and I got to soak in a nice hot bubble bath.

2 days, i had HG when pregnant with my second and i couldnt get out of bed. I felt disgusting. Normally i shower 1-2 times a day

A week, I had an episode where I just sleep nearly non-stop. I was 15. I only got up to pee and get water, maybe a yogurt, then pass back out. This is based on what my high school bf said because I was totally out of it and he stuck by me much of the time! I still get these episodes, just not as bad; I will shower. Chronic fatigue

I'd say around 6 days, I fell down some cement stairs and chip-fractured my spine when I was 16. My legs constantly felt like they were asleep and I'd fall every time I tried to stand or walk without help. Kept the important parts clean though!

I take a shower every other day but there's been a few times in my life when it's gone 4 or 5 days. No real reason. I think it's funny that some people think others are disgusting if they don't shower every day (I've heard people say this). If that's true then everyone was disgusting back in the day when people only bathed weekly. I used to shower every day but showering every other day makes for better hair and skin!
