At 8 weeks it's highly unlikely to be feeling kicks that early. The baby at 8 weeks is only the size of a raspberry and we know how small that is. At 10 weeks they are barely the size of a strawberry. I know everyone is different. I'd say closer to 12 weeks you could feel the baby. I'm no doctor though so who knows

at 8 weeks i just felt movement but now at 10 weeks im feeling what feels like kicks but i shall see as weeks go on   thank you for the feedback

Wow I never heard of what may be kicks at eight weeks. Who knows though.

I'm kinda glad we're not that active --- too much to catch up on!
Since I work 3-11pm, I'm usually on late at night after everyone's gone to bed... so I catch up on everyone's posts from the day (that's why I have so many in a row at night --- sorry!).

When I was in the April 2013 last summer before my loss.... damn, those girls could crank out 10-15 pgs a day sometimes! I could barely keep up with them... lol. I like our little tight-knit group

I have been a little stressed all day because i woke up feeling fine  
but not im sick (It's sat 12th jan) two more days untill I am 11 weeks wow how time is flying.
On another note my BP was a little high last tuesday so I have to go to the FMAU, it was a little high then to but doctor wasn't to concerned he said"Your more than likley to have the baby at the end of july  ."
such is life my next appointment is the 31st and my next scan the 30th I will be just over 13 weeks.

I would like your ladies opinions on something.... I have my next sono on Feb. 5th I will be by their due date they gave 11wks 5 days but by the measurements of the baby at the last sono I would be 11wks 1 day for the NT scan, I have read that sometimes this is too early for this scan would you think I should resch. for the following week I would than be between 12/1-12/5

thats exactly what im going through and was wondering the same. im getting the scan jan.25 an ill be 11wk 6 days by the babys measurement but there going off my lmp due date since its within the +/- 5 day rule so they sayn ill b a little over 12wks. i was wondering if they would reschedule if im to early and they said they would so im just keep my appt. hopefully yours does the same so you dont have to wait longer to see little bean.

i didnt feel kicks at 8wk...i feel kicks now though (10wk). at 8 weeks i just felt what i feel was baby moving...like when someone rubs a nuckle against you kinda exept internally. 2wks later, today and im feeling the thump i felt with my youngest daughter which turned out to be her kicks. (i felt my youngest move and kicks at 11wks)

Has anyone had to have a stitch put in their cervix with this or a previous pregnancy? My dr. is considering that for me, because she believes I will have this baby earlier than I had my son (34 weeks). I don't know anyone who has had it done, and of course the Internet information tends to frighten me! I'm officially past the week when I miscarried last time. I'm hoping my nerves will soon calm! :/

We would have been very active but a lot of August mamas lost their babies   so sad my heart goes out to them.
