I'm allowed to take the usual 12wks, but I will only be paid for the amount of sick, vacation or comp time I've accrued. Between my loss in Sept, visiting back home in dec (which was planned before we got PG), and this week of issues... I think I've zeroed out that balance  

So, by the time the baby's born, I'll probably have about 2wks paid (if I'm lucky & don't need to take any more time off). Which means, 10wks unpaid. Or else I go back to work after 2wks. Hubby & I discussed it & he wants me to take the whole 12wks and that we'll make it work (even though it will be a $4k loss to our income). We're going to save everything we can between now & then and just be cautious w/our money. I love him lol

I take 6 weeks and pumped twice at work while I was breast feeding. I didn't notice a huge decrease until we starting putting her on solids and she wasn't needing as much from me. I only last 1 year..my right side was pretty much a goner by a year and I was ready to not hassel with it.

Good to hear. Maybe pumping early will help with production. I pumped with my daughter until she was one and did okay. I had to add in two extra pump sessions at home in addition to two at work to have enough milk to last her while I was at work. It was like I was chained to that machine.

I plan to breast feed this baby  

I did with DS for 4 months before we decided to quit (I was doing it all on my own and SO tried helping but we just couldn't do it anymore)

This time I know better and will work harder  

Have an ultrasound tomorrow at 9. I am so excited  

my next ultrasounds jan.25 with my perinealtologist. ill only be 11 weeks. i thought they start the first trimester screening @ 12 weeks. has anyone gotten it done at 11? i found out why they put me "4 days ahead" on the last ultrasound. supposedly from my lmp my due date is aug.6 and when they did the u/s i was only 4 days off [putting me exactly where i shouldve been 8wks 4 days instead of 9wks 1 day] so they left it at my due date from lmp[aug.6 instead of changing it to aug.10]. they said that they would only change my due date if it was a week or more off. i will be having a scheduled c-section[my decision...my last 2 were c-secs] the end of july.

I just don't get it, ladies, I really don't! Another large, random gush of blood about 90 mins ago (seems to have tapered off by now). Not planning on going to hospital unless it doesn't stop or symptoms worsen. Going to text my OB in the morning. It's just so damn fustrating! Seems like it's almost every 48 hrs on the nose; what the hell? About 3hrs before, I felt some sharp stabbing/stretching pain in abdomen (nowhere near baby, not menstrual or m/c like pain --- kinda like in the jiggly part of my belly, or near outer layers of skin-- not deep inside). Still feeling it now. Also had one tight pain (like a bone pain, not muscular) in my lower pelvis area -- I chalked it up to things stretching/moving to accommodate baby growing (will be 9wks on Fri). I'm not crazy concerned about the baby since we've had 2 u/s this week after each bleed & baby was perfect, but this is just maddening! I just want a break from the damn stress of it! GAH!

I plan on doing at least 2 years. I nursed my first until 13 months and my second until 2.5years with a hiatus of 2 months at the beginning because I was ill and a 5 month hiatus during an earlier pregnancy. I think I"m most excited for breastfeeding.

I plan on doing 6 months again since I can take up to that much under my contract - its not all paid, but still worth it

Planning on breastfeeding our little one as well! I exclusivly breastfeed all of our children
14 months for the first one
13 months for the second one
12 months for the third one
and Katelyn will be 16 months on the 17th and she is still nursing in the morning and at night. I would like to have her weaned by end of April though just to give me a little break I have been pregnant or breastfeeding for the past 8 years!!!! Would like to nurse at least a year with this baby as well so altogether my 20s will all be devoted to having babies and feeding them hahaha!

7 weeks today   I'm sooooo nervous yall...my first u/s is in 2 weeks..first docs app in 3 weeks...I really want to hear a nice strong heartbeat this go around

Im finally 8 weeks   and still everythings seems fine at 7 w 5 d in the last pregnancy i miscarried so im pretty excited everything seems to be going good still

Yay!   So happy for you!

7 weeks today yay! Well... My first OB appt isn't until the 22nd, so based on my LMP, I'm 7 weeks... Anyway tho... The naseau has kicked in and my boobs HURT SO MUCH! I also don't have any type of appetite and find myself forcing myself to eat because.... you have to eat to live, right? lol... It's been kinda wretched, but I love it! :-)
