Only a handful of our friends know and my parents.... my husbands parents have no idea yet though haha! I love having a sercret but am excited to share the news, it seems like a ton of people in my facebook friends are annoc. they are expecting in late summer as well! I wonder how shocked everyone will be to hear we are as well being our 5th child! =0) haha

We did share with our child yesterday after the appt. I showed my almost 7 yr old the sono pic and said do you know what this is..... (I should have tape it) his mouth dropped open and his eyes got huge! He said oh my another one..... meme (which is my mom) we are having another baby! I'm so excited this is just amazing!!!! What is it mom, I hope it's another girl! Than we went into Red Lobster to eat and sat down.... he was so excited he couldn't hold still wanted to tell the waitress and than put his hand on my belly and said I want to feel the baby haha I was like Logan the baby is very small right now so you will have to wait a little longer to feel him/her! It was the best reaction ever!!!!
My almost 5 yr old an almost 3 yr old didn't show hardly any interest at all though. Wylie my 3 yr old did say a baby how amazing haha he was copying his big brother! =0)

So cute!   I think I'm just going to try to hold it in now until we know the gender. It kind of sucks but we won't be seeing anyone till then. I guess it all depends on how quick I show with this one. I showed pretty quick with ds...

That is the best reaction I've ever heard   Since you don't have it on camera, write this in the new baby's book --- this is a memory you'll definitely want to keep  

So who is all breastfeeding? I am looking foreward to it to be honest..I did with ky youngest but did not do it until he was 10 days old and I couldn't produce enough

I totally plan on it. Not til the baby's walking around and can ask for it, but at least almost the first year

I breastfed my first for 8 months, but due to a poor latch and lack of support, she got mostly formula. I am STILL nursing my 23 month old, so I will definitely be nursing this one, I may end up tandem nursing if my son doesn't wean himself by then.

I'm still breastfeeding my nearly 18 month old so I probably will breastfeed this one as well unless something happens and I can't. I breastfed my oldest for a much shorter time but I did try so that made me happy. I feel like my 2 bio kids are healthier because I did.

I breastfed my first until she was 3.5yrs old. She asks me now if the newb will drink my boobies too, I told her yes they will, and she asked if I could give her some in a cup. I told her sure, if you really want it.

Not gross or weird, just not my style. Sometimes I'm a bit too heavy-handed on the sarcasm.. lol

Went in for my first appt today..measuring right on Target Aug 13th..well the u/s said Aug 10th but my first baby was 8lbs 9oz so I figure I am good to go. For some reason I was freaking out that they would do the exam and there wouldn't be a heart beat..but all is well and it has little arms and legs. I love that my dr does a U/S with each exam so its fun to watch them get bigger.

I am looking forward to breastfeeding again. I BFed my daughter for 2 years. I think she has such a great immune system because of it. I hope it goes as smoothly with the second.


How much maternity leave are you working moms going to take? I'll lose my health insurance beyond 8 weeks which we can't afford. I'm worried about going back to teaching full-time so quickly. (I had almost 4 months because my DD was born in May.) I hope it doesn't interfere with breastfeeding. Pumping sucks.
