What? I'm 8 weeks and 4 days and uterus us well above my pubic bone. I just had it checked yesterday at my appointment. Mine is half way to my belly button.

12 days until my appointment! I am excited because it's finally less than 2 weeks away.

Nope I was shown both. The Yolk sack is a circle the placenta is along the uterus. While It is not FULLY formed until around 12 weeks it begins forming very soon after implantation, you can find that on almost any website if you search it. I could find my pulse as well, there is an artery next to the hip, the placenta was in the middle VERY far down and I had to push in to find it, it is way louder and more of a swooshing sound. It does sound much like your own heartbeat though because blood is pumping through it. My doctor showed me what the placenta sounded like with my son when I heard is hb at 9 weeks

Maya is an L&D nurse which is why she gave you the input lol. Of course all babies develop differently and at different stages. I'm sure she wasn't meaning to be a "know it all" but it's okay. Anyway on my neck of the woods I am feeling sick to my stomach again. I have a better feeling about this pregnancy. I am feeling things lol. 7 weeks today by LMP.. I could go for a nap right now since I've been on the go since 8am but I have to work in an hour or so   I just want a day off...

Almost 8 weeks..feeling so miserable today. I've thrown up..and DH has the flu..ugh I feel like a bad mom to my 3 yr old today

I know and I wasnt being rude back just showing that I knew what I was talking about and my doctor was the one who showed me the placenta so I knew It was there. I wasn't just guessing lol and like I said In the othrr thread can you take just one day off? That sucks I couldn't imagine working that much right now :/

pffft. I wish I could. I don't have a day off until Wednesday. I normally don't complain about working but Wednesday will make it 14days since I've had a day off and 7 doubles I've worked in two weeks. It's ridiculous! I have to work doubles this weekend too. I am grumpy from it all!! hahaha and super moody!

Welcome everyone!


I feel so terrible today. I just want to sleep. I've been getting 9+ hours of sleep every night and I'm still exhausted! 3 weeks until my appointment. I'm not sure if I'll get an ultrasound that day.


I plan on waiting until after we get the 1st trimester screening results before announcing. I may try to wait longer for work .
