I hear ya! I'm from the East Coast (originally from Boston), so I'm used to humidity & it getting up to the 90's, maybe 100 for a day or so.... then I move to Kansas.... holy hell! 113* last summer? WHAT?!

I've always said before that I never wanted to be "big" pregnant during the summer... and I was excited when my last pregnancy was due in April. But now, after losing the baby... I'll grin & bear the heat and just be grateful for my rainbow baby  

(I might bitch a little sometimes, tho... lol)

Last year we didn't really have a summer at all here. We had like a week of really hot weather in July and then it was pretty much cold the rest of the time. This is the only time I'll be wishing for one of our smurffy summers!

I LOVED my summer pregnancy with my daughter! I was due Oct. 8th but had her Sept. 17th It was nice being over my ms by the time spring came around and I could show off my baby bump in cute summer clothes! =0) Lived in the a/c some but overall I enjoyed being outside even while being big! Another nice thing is our drs. office is 40 minutes away and we can have some terrible winter weather so having the once a week appts. when the weather is nice is AWESOME! Plus my labors go fast and being my 5th I'm sure this one will be no different (hopefully) =0) and I don't want to have to hurry to the hospital in the snow!
I told my husband if we had another child I wanted to be due around late summer early fall again and I'm so excited we are!!!! =0)
With my first 3 pregnancies I was due Feb. 4, 2006 feb. 5, 2008 and feb. 5, 2010 so it was right in the middle of winter with all 3 of them! I had my ms during spring and early summer and with the heat it made it worst! So thankful I dont have to do that this time!!!!! YEAH!

I'm nervous. My family has shared their germs with me and I've been fighting a fever with Tylenol but last night I woke up sweating something fierce and burning up. I'm praying nugget took it like a champ and will be perfectly fine at my US/ Dr appt tomorrow.

I got an ultrasound scheduled for January 21st at the pregnancy center I went to today. I am beyond ecstatic.... I now will know something before the 28th... Its going to be a long few weeks thats for sure

Just called my drs office about my appt next tue. jan. 8th..... I asked if I would have an u/s and the lady explained everything they would do and said there isn't a u/s unless there is an opening and the dr would like me to have one that day. I told her I wasn't sure of my due date because of nursing my daughter and she was like oh well yes for sure the dr will most likely give you one that day unless their isn't any openings so I'm praying there is some openings!!!!!! Can't wait to see this baby!!!!! =0)
