Lol. Actually. I just saw a BFP from a mama due September 18th.. I really wanted an October baby but Ill get what Im given especially since I was ttcing for almost a year

That's crazy! I feel like I just had my DS and he was an April 2010 baby!!

I'm not sure about how I feel with a late August due date. It isn't ideal because I'm a teacher. I'll only be able to take 6-8 weeks. I'm also dreading being huge during the summer.

Me neither. lol. I'm praying for on of our "late summers" but then idk how I feel about having a newborn during that kind of heat.

As long as you have good air conditioning and /or are OK wearing light clothes it's fine. This is my third summer pregnancy (my daughter who I put up for adoption was ALSO born in August ) so I'm prepared lol. Near the end I lived in my camis+ shorts though and some really light tshirts too. My youngest was due in August but came a little less than a month early so. I'm hoping this one's actually an August baby though or even a September baby. Even though it'll be hotter than hell , I think it's better than winter pregnancies. My first was born in the winter and most of my pregnancy with her was spent between a cold hospital and a cold house   .

I had my ob appt. yesterday. I had an ultrasound. I'm measuring around 7 weeks and baby had a heart beat of 143

i have a dating ultrasound tomorrow. i just had a scan on monday through a free clinic also. i know after this ultrasound i wont see my little bean until my 2nd trimeater screening...i cannot wait to get in my second trimester. february coudld not get here soon enough.

My ultrasound is tomorrow!

My "first appointment" is an over the-phone-conversation with a RN. I guess I expected a little more.

You're like a week behind me. My first apt was at 4 weeks but it was just blood work for my hcg levels and a confirmation in the office. This is an ultrasound, and more blood work for prenatal labs.

They won't see me til 10 weeks here..but I'm going to life choices at 8....I feel kind of bad just because its not really for women just to get an ultrasound, its for women who don't know what to do...

My husband told me he wished I wasn't preggers..because he is scared about how everything is going to work..I just looked at him and asked why in the hell were we TTC then..I was so pissed..I'm trying to understand that its the same as the oh crap thought that goes through our heads ..but it still made me mad...its not like we are doing terrible financially
