I can't wait til I can REALLY feel it, like moving all day. This next month should be pretty exciting

Well, I was using mine once a day. But then I asked my dr and he said there has never been any proof that too much can harm your baby, but they just don't know for sure so I should stick to a couple times a week :/

I use mine 2-3 times a week I try to limit myself =0) But when I do use it I pretty much do it just like a doctor would, put the gel on find the heartbeat listen for maybe 30 seconds and shut it off. All I need is to hear it to make sure the baby is doing good and of course hear that sweet sound for a few seconds and I'm good for a few days! haha I used mine this morning and this past Friday, so probably won't use it again until Thursday or Friday

yes for all of us! Feeling movements, having sonograms and some finding out gender! I can't wait until I get feel movements outside than the children can enjoy it as well, they are always asking if they can feel the baby. haha

Hello ladies! Haven't been on for a few days! Hope everyone is doing good! I keep looking for that baby bump...but pretty sure its still all bloat since it seems to grow as the day goes on and after I eat hahahaha anyone else notice this?

Here is my 14 week pic! And to compare is my 6 week pic. I look huge, but I swear I was small before. I know it's still mostly bloat, but goodness I look big. Last time j was at the dr I had only gained 1 lb...I'm sure that will change at my next appt! And I'm on my phone so I can only post the link. Sorry.

Only tips I could tell ya is NOT to worry too much if you can't find it right away, ok? I've had mine for a while now & I only just found it the other day (and also.... couldn't keep it long enough to enjoy it b/c baby moved around too much). It all depends on whether your uterus is above the pelvic bone yet & where your pelvis sits (low, to the back, high, etc)

As for how often... there IS no medical data that says that it is harmful to the baby ---- HOWEVER ---- it emits sound waves into your uterus & the amniotic fluid is a conductor (which is how we're able to hear the heartbeat). What this means is that the baby (when his/her ears are functioning) can HEAR it and it's gotta be hella annoying! Like a low-level hum & vibration. I've read posts here and other forums from mothers (who were further along & could feel where their babies were).... all of them said that when they used the doppler, they could feel the baby actually moving AWAY from the wand against their bellies. So, for me, I am limiting my use to about 1-2 times per week. Right now, I'm only using it each Saturday (the start of a new week for me). What's right for you & your baby is entirely up to you, of course.

My belly looks almost exactly like yours, and Im 12 weeks!!! Lol
