Also, you gotta remember that your baby is putting a little extra pressure on the intestines its near therefore when gas travels through that area you'll notice it more...but from 10 to 15 weeks the baby grows 3 whole inches...and 1.5 of those inches are from weeks 13 to 15 weeks..you'll be able to feel your baby in no time if that's not what it is

If it's feasible, I'd just go to Boston for peace of mind..

I swore that I felt my baby in the 11th week, but I had an ultrasound at 12 weeks 5 days. The baby was going absolutely crazy & I didn't feel a thing lol. "He" was flipping & kicking like crazy...nothing on the outside. I just wonder it was because I wasn't gassy or anything lol.

That really sucks! He sounds like a douche. I went to a fertility specialist at the beginning of this pregnancy (b/c of my loss (and one 15yrs ago) and my age -- my doctor thought it would be best just to make sure everything looked good for this being a successful pregnancy). The specialist AND his nurse treated me like a hypochondriac --- looked at me like "why are you here?" He even said, "You've only had one "real" loss" (because I had a chemical pregnancy 15 yrs ago, he doesn't count that. I'm like, really? One isn't enough? B/c I sure as hell don't wanna go thru that again.

But, I digress... What I meant is that often times, specialists are NOT the warmest people. A lot of doctors don't have good bedside manner and can make us feel worthless. The GOOD news is there are PLENTY of good doctors out there. I lived in Boston up until 3yrs ago. I KNOW how smurffy the traffic is! But, if you feel you'll get better care, I would go there. Your baby is worth it & you deserve it. Screw that other guy. Good luck, mama!

How is everyone feeling? I know a few of us have some appointments coming up.   2 weeks and 2 days until mine! Then if everything is good I think I'm finally going to go public! lol.

Also, strongly considering getting a fetal doppler... But just not sure. Now that I'm 13w I'm thinking I will feel kicks soon (started at 14 or 15 weeks with my son...) and I think the kicks will be a great relief for me.   What do you all think?

I remember being pregnant with my 2nd son at our 13-14 week appt. The male dr asked me if I had been feeling any movements and I said yes I have felt some light ones. He than looked at me and said oh no it's way to soon. He was trying to find the babies heartbeat on the doppler and couldn't find it. So I said oh well the baby is RIGHT HERE, try it and sure enough he picked it up in seconds. He just was like oh well sorry about that I guess you are feeling the baby! haha

Each baby and person's body is different and some babies do grow at a fast rate then others too. Our 2nd son always measured at least a week to a week 1/2 over from the 12 week sonogram on. I was boarder line gd so he was born at 8lbs 15 ozs 6 days early! Also it depends on where your uterus and plecenta is and how thin you are, if you have been pregnant before. I don't think it's something someone should said for sure someone can't feel unless they are trying to say they feel something before say 10 weeks because the baby is just starting to have limbs. But at 11-12 weeks I honestly think it could be possible, I won't think it would be very often though but I'm sure the baby could give a few good wiggles every once and awhile! haha
