I don't know if what I have is insomnia --- I'm tired all day, tell myself that I WILL be going to bed early that night. Then, I get home ---- wide friggin' awake! I don't get to sleep until 4am, get up around 10am (have to be at work by 2:45pm). Same cycle every night. Plus, I wake up at least twice during the night to pee, turn over, have heartburn or just lie there for a while. I love my sleep & I miss it dearly

Since this pregnancy was a shock it's all I can think about! I'm obsessed, lol. My sister-in-law is 5mo ahead of me so I was going through baby fever,   Now I can't wait for my baby!

Oh gosh, I understand baby fever! I felt like EVERYONE around me was pregnant! I've wanted one for so long & at my age, there's not much time to get 'er done! lol

I wasn't "obsessed" before --- but I sure am now! It's all I think about, too

As for me I would love another girl simply because my first was a boy but passed and my last was a boy and is my only boy he's apparently the apple of my eye, my husband has 4 boys lol so he's hoping for a little girl but has this feeling it's going to be another boy. I hope i can give him his little girl   But even still I wouldn't mind what i am having so long as it's healthy

I'm more of a "heavy set gal" anyway my baby bump is underneath my belly button (it looks stupid because it's to the left side and pushing my belly button up) my bump is around the size of a large grapefruit. hope this helps

Lol I had pregnancy insomnia (yes it is possible your suffering) it will settle I promise I swear I couldn't go to bed before 2.30am seems now i'm in trimester two it's settled also my OB said "stress is the main factor during pregnancy and having insomnia".
Try different approaches to combat, Watch and love movie before bed, eat a few peices of chocolate, having sex anything that releases endorphins.

Has anyone had gallbladder issues in the past?
Well long story short I was diagnosed in 2009 (after two back to back pregnancys one a miscarriage and second and ectopic) I had a few attacks and in the best interest and because I have a reaction to anesthetic it was decided that the best option for me would diet controll, which has been fine since.
fast forward to last night I had the worse attack ever I swear if it didn't stop I was going to die, I knew even if i went to the ER I highly doubt they wouldn't do anything for me also they can't help other then pain management which dose nothing anyway also been 14+2 weeks pregnant wont help, Now this morning I have a really tender tummy and a stomache ache I just don't know what to do any suggestions?

Those are some good suggestions... I sometimes bring hubby's laptop in the bedroom & put something I've seen before on netflix (funny enough, a good scary movie helps me sleep! lol). Also, I think I need my pregnancy pillow. I used it last time & I've never slept so good! After I lost the baby, I put it in the spare room. Hubby didn't like it b/c it took up a lot of room in the bed, but I slept like a baby   It's shaped like a candy cane. The curved part goes under my head & I can hug it.. the rest cradles my back & I can put it through my legs (so it's like a pretzel) to support the hips, too. Heavenly. Later, you can use it for breastfeeding. It was the best $60 I've ever spent

That's a great idea   i have like four pillows in my bed lol and since it's a king size bed my husband dosen't care to much.
I think the hardest thing is I am a flat on the stomache sleeper over the past 10 or so days I have a noticable hard firm baby bump under my belly button and now everytime I wake up I'm half sleeping on my tummy and side and my tummy hurts   It's already starting to get in the way lol.

Everytime I need to sleep I pull out a book (I have this book I had been given and told to read it's a italian top seller) and that puts me straight to sleep I prefer true crime, auto biographs so the darn book puts me straight to sleep lol.

Have they done an u/s on your gallbladder to check on the amount of stones you have? I had mine removed in 1997 after a 2hr attack. I was in pain 45min before I went to the hospital -- they gave me a "GI Cocktail" (don't know what was in it, but it numbed me from the back of my tongue to my stomach & eased the pain). U/S showed a lot of stones, so scheduled me for laproscopic surgery w/in 3wks.
Upon removal, the gallbladder had WAY more stones than they'd initially thought. It was so distended that the doctor had to cut my bellybutton more in order to get it out. He said that the way it looked, it would have most likely burst within a few more weeks & I probably would have died from sepsis.
I don't say this to scare you, but I really think you need to talk to your doctor & re-evaluate how they're treating you. As things got worse for me, it was more painful toward the end.

I'm a full stomach sleeper, too! And lately, I've only been able to go from side to side. I cannot sleep on my back at all.

Ugh, books do me no good. I get too into them & can't fall asleep! lol

I'm doing well. Have the weekend off (to clean, of course!). So, I'm in the middle of my 2nd load of laundry & talking to my mom (who is 1700 miles away) on oovoo.com

Apparently Mine is jammed pack full they said the reason I had the attacks was because the stone was passing down the duct or something like that?, It sucks I haven't had any issues since 2009 and just now, I still have a stomach ache, back pain and under my ribs.
the problem is i'm a walking ball of problems plus a high risk pregnany I have my next appointmentin 10 days hopefully I can hold out and just talk to them whenI see them.

I do want a healthy baby but I also am being selfish, I have the 2 boys and my sister-in-law is having a boy so I want my daughter to have a sister, she can remember my oldest and misses her (it's been 6yrs). Also my fiance is only the father of my youngest, a boy, and I'd like to give him a girl though we call him daddy and he says all the kids are "his."

Lol we are kind of in the same boat I know the feeling of giving your spouse a child I mean "all the kids" are ours, My step-children know I love them all the same and it's the same with my husband and daughters  
I really hope we get what we desire although it's not always the case.

On the discussion of the sex of the baby, I'm seriously hoping for a boy. I won't be disappointed if peanut's a little girl though. I love my kids regardless , even though I've been hoping for a boy since my last pregnancy. I'm starting to think I can't have little boys, but we'll see. But I love my 3 girls and if I have a 4th I will not be upset at all. All babies are adorable and fun for me anyway.
