Haha, girls are crazy! My daughter is in denial there is a baby... both boys want a girl, but she just says "no" to boy/girl or brother/sister.

AMEN TO THAT!

Lol. I've been told SEVERAL times not to worry, but guess what?! Blood coming from my vag MAKES ME WORRY. :/

Quoting mama-mita-see:" anyone planning on doing a gender reveal party once they find out the gender of their little one?!?!"

I've never done it before, but it'd kinda be fun. With our first, most of the people that would have been at the party were at the u/s lol. With our second & third, we were here (away from family) so there was no point except a phone call.... Well, our second was a surprise baby & the third was a phone call on the u/s date lol.

Lol. Maybe if I had a cervix like yours I wouldn't have such a sensitivity problem.

Yeah, Idk why mine is? Dumb question, but is it also related to how strong your placenta is? I've been told that it is very strong too...my water doesn't break until the baby is either crowning or coming out.

I heard some people spot thought their entire pregnancy. Hope this is not your case.

Oh also I'm planning to tell the kids tonight at dinner , but we're gonna wait to tell the rest of the family about the pregnancy until after my next appointment. Mostly since I think my kids have kinda figured it out but I wanna make it official for them they're getting another little brother or sister. I figure the pregnancy is going good enough and we're safe enough to do that. We can hear the heartbeat on the doppler and I feel pretty confident I'll carry to at least 35 weeks.

Lol. Me too...

My OB says it's probably an irritated cervix... So lifting and straining to poop can cause spotting... We'll see at my next appointment. Nothing has changed so I don't want to call or anything.

Is it stupid to throw myself a baby shower? I don't have any family members here in NC and I don't really have any close girlfrieds or anything. My MIL said that she won't be able to throw me a baby shower this time around because she's not talking to any of the family members here and she doesn't know any of my friends. She's really going through depresion and she's well, old LOL! So I don't blame her and TBH the baby shower she threw me for DD was extremely boring. What do y'all think?

I don't think it's a problem. Many people are like OMG you can't do that, but I don't see the problem? If you want to do it do what you want. It's your pregnancy after all.

I probably won't have one this time around, especially if peanut is a girl ( as I still have a TON of baby girl clothes from my youngest) . I even have stuff left over from my step-son if peanut is a boy. The only thing we really need at all is a new crib. We might have a little party once they're born but I don't feel like it's necessary this time around to have a baby shower.

I don't have ANYTHING I gave everything away because I new that DD would be 5 by the time we had a second child. We made sure of that LOL! So I just did not have the space to save baby stuff for 5 years. So we need everything

I'd just say go for it.

I kinda know how it is though because until I had Minako it was 12 years since I raised a baby from birth, and my pregnancy with her was like in the middle of all of the chaos in moving in with my (then) fiance, getting married, getting adjusted to suddenly having 3 kids instead of one and also (surprise, no planning at all...was gonna get birth control lol) having one on the way. Wouldn't change it for anything, but that was crazy, so it wasn't like the money or anything I was just trying to fit in buying baby stuff while also reducing the chaos in my life. I guess now for round two but we planned this heavily and are more prepared this time around.

Thanks, she amazes me daily. This sounds awful but I've joked that's she's so pretty and smart that all our good genes went into her and our next is gonna be ugly and dumb, lol. I hope I didn't jinx nugget with that one.
