Amen to that! I hate having to check every time I go or else running to the bathroom b/c I think I feel something. It's frustrating. I just wanna enjoy this time, too! I love how Dr's say it like it's no big deal lol

LOL, I realized when you quoted me that I said Papa, not pap, for some reason my fingers always add an extra A to words, lol. Every time I write YAY, I spell it yaya, and have to fix it, lol. But seriously, no one has ever spotted and been like "Oh thats cool" No, it's not cool and having my kid in the bathroom with me at the time doesn't help. I wipe and am like "Oh smurf.. and in my head am thinking*.Ok, Jen, stay calm, it's normal, breathe* And she's all like whats wrong mama? Ughh

I do the same thing with the A, sometimes, too lol

And oh man, that's gotta be even harder with the LO in the bathroom with you --- being worried & having to keep it together for her   They're so perceptive to our feelings & moods sometimes!

Yeah I never potty alone :/ And she is very perceptive. When I found out I was pregnant I quit picking her up (She's 50lbs) and was very cautious of my belly and tried to stay off my feet as much as possible and she kept asking "Is there a baby in your tummy?" Darn kid caught on way to early. She wasn't even surprised when we did finally tell her, little butt had already figured it all out, lol

anyone planning on doing a gender reveal party once they find out the gender of their little one?!?!

I figure I'm gonna find out the sex of the baby some time around the 3rd or 4th appointment. I don't think we're gonna have a reveal party or anything. I only know next appointment I'm not getting an ultrasound so I figure it'd be the one after that one. I thought I was, but turns out nope. I figure the next appointment after the one on the 18th will be at 17 or 18 weeks so I'll probably find out then.

Also hubby has caught on with the whole calling the fetus peanut so we've been calling it peanut when talking about it lol.

Congrats & welcome! I wanted twins every time but this one lol... You will be able to roll with whatever comes your way.   When you have a singleton, you'll think it's easy peasy!

The midwife told me while doing my pap "You may spot a little after this. This will be perfectly normal, so don't worry about it." Then as she was getting done, she was like "Nope, you won't spot at all. You have one of the strongest cervixes I've ever seen." lol Idk why, but it made me laugh.

It helps if I just expect it to come back as weird as that sounds. So I wasn't completely surprised... It still doesn't suck any less though. lol. So glad your spotting stopped! I don't know what I would do if I had big bleeds too...
