Hello second trimester!!!! 13 weeks today!!!

Oh I'm so glad he doesn't seem too worried and that it's lessened!!!  

(HUGE knocks on wood) I haven't had ANY spotting since Sunday which is huge since I've never gone more than like 20hrs between spotting. I'm crossing my fingers. I can feel my uterus getting bigger and I might drink some regular coffee today to see if I can feel the flutters again. lol. Hopefully we will both be done with this soon!

Has anyone done any of the gender tests? I'm talking the cheap ones like peeing into baking soda or pouring pee into powder draino. lol. I'm thinking about doing something silly like that for fun...

In SD (I'm sure they have them evweywhere) they have 3d gender scans for $60...you can go as early as 15 weeks!

I live in a small town in KS, so I'll have to see if maybe there's something in Wichita (an hr away) and go from there. I would REALLY love a 3D scan   I would probably wait til about 15 or 16wks anyway, just to be sure I get a good one! Thanks for the idea, I'll look it up

WOOT! Awesome news! I'm crossing fingers AND toes for ya! I really hope you're done with that, too

I'm so jealous of all the ladies getting ultrasound around this time! Mine was so early it didnt look like a baby yet lol and my only other one is the anatomy which isn't til around 18 weeks. I would love to see little one jumping and wiggling about at this stage especially since this might be our last :/ I wonder if I could beg my ob to do one quick at my next appt lol they just have a little machine that they use for dating ultrasounds.

I've thought about that one too. I was always sure this one was a boy. And then the other night I had an odd dream that my mom came over w/a home u/s wand. It looked like a flashlight, you put one end to your belly & the other end projected the image on the ceiling (wouldn't it be awesome if they really existed! lol). So, we saw the heartbeat was 163 & then she says.... there's a vagina! It's a girl! --- I woke up feeling really odd. Now, I'm thinking it might have been a sign pointing toward girl. I'll be curious to see what's what

You should do it around 18-20 weeks that way they can really confirm the sex and the baby's face will be fuller.
