As someone with hyperemesis, I had no throwing up yesterday or the day before. I got worried.... I jinxed it because the pukies came back with a vengeance today!! Lol second time I jinxed my good days.

Symptoms come and go.
Sometimes nausea will leave and never come back. (For some people.) I went from extremely sore boobs to no pain at all. Then two days later the sore boobs are back. try not to worry!!

That is spectacular! So happy the little one is perfect. The wait is so hard, but the joy of seeing them is worth it

Awesome! At least to hear it makes you feel better, eh? That's why I can't wait for my doppler to arrive (should be any day now).
Is Feb 20th the u/s date or your next appt?

I'm finding out the sex --- all my life, I thought I'd want to be surprised, but all I can think about now is whether there's a boy or girl in there
I have no preference --- thought I'd always want a boy first, but after losing my first baby last year --- all I can say is just that I want one this time

How about you?

AGREED! I miss the wonder & excitement of the first time when I was a mildly worried about loss, but was looking forward to Tri 2 & really didn't see the loss coming. I feel bad that my first thought after the initial excitement of finding out we were pregnant again was whether this would be a loss, too. I think about that almost as much as I think about the good parts.

EMILY -- I hate wishing that you get your MS back (seems almost cruel), so I'll just wish you peace in your heart and that you feel better tomorrow. If it makes you feel any better, I stopped feeling sore in the boobs for a few days, then they came back double!

Just my next appointment. I won't have another scan till the anatomy one, so that kind of sucks. But I'm so glad I went.

Everyone else, let us know about the spotting! I'm still spotting after 5 weeks so I understand the worry!

Let me ask you ---- b/c I've not really asked anyone (probably b/c I've not gotten this far with good results)... what are anatomy scans (is that to find out gender)? Are these different than the nt scans? I'm just not "up" on what scan is for what and when! lol TIA!

This is the one they do around 20 weeks and its a major growth scan. They take lots of measurements and it takes at least a half an hour. The gender is just the bonus.   I'm really excited for that one.

Sorry to hear so many mama are having spotting and worries about loss of symptoms. I had some spotting a few days ago but baby still fine and my hcg levels still going up so all looking positive. I to have had one miscarriage and a missed miscarriage. So had pretty much convinced myself yesterday that the baby had died before I went for my scan so burst into tears when I seen the heart beat. I get to go for another scan in 4 weeks to have the nt done.
And as far as finding out the sex I want a surprise this time as this baby will definitely be my last. and I don't really have a preference although I am sick of everyone saying I must be hopeing for a girl (I already have 3 boys)
Also just wondering it there any of you mama's who are due in August who already have a baby under one??

Ok so update. What I was pretty sure was baby movement DEFINITELY is. It's so obvious I literally squeal from surprise when it happens. One is in my lower left side and the other is top right by my belly button. And I feel it always in the same spot. It's like a surprising unexpected POKE. So strange because with my son I felt him at like 14 weeks.

Is anybody else feeling anything yet??
