I thought so until I wasnt one.

Being a teenager to me was staying up all night because you could sleep all day. Going where you want, when you want. Having that freedom but still not responsible for paying bills and dealing with rent.

i didn't say they did or was. i was just saying that there were so many girls getting pregnant and still in high school that the school district had a budget for a daycare.

I actually can still do that. My son is the best kid ever! I can stay up all night with him just watching tv and then sleep in intill 12 lol He has even slept throw the whole night already at 2 months! I can go to the mall and have him and my little sister play at the park thing in the mall. I usally go with my cusion. I thought being a teenager meant to go partying, and sneaking out lol But i could be wrong.

There's alot of girls getting pregnant here. Not that it excuses it but my high school teaches abstinence based education only. Which is not right IMO

I'm 22 with a 2 year old. I don't regret him at all and love him like crazy but think it would've been a lot better if I waited granted I was engaged but still. I was 19 and that felt way too young.

When I was in school, there were several girls who got pregnant Sophmore year and Junior year. It seemed everyone found birth control Senior year because there weren't very many girls pregnant.
I didn't have any interest in guys or sex in school. I focused on my academics and after school activities. The idea of babies and STDs scared me.

Wow. That's crazy. But I see a LOT of teenage girls pregnant where I live.
Riding the train or bus with a huge belly or with a belly and a kid.

I honestly feel bad for these teenagers so young having kids. Losing their childhood/teenage years.
It doesn't hurt to use protection or be on birth control!

WOW!
That's crazy...
When I was in school, there weren't many pregnancies at all.
I think there were 2 older girls that got pregnant my sophomore year, and then my junior year one of my friends got pregnant. Then the beginning of my senior year (17yrs old) I got pregnant. I think I was the only one....I can't remember.
Then I had my daughter 4 days before walking at graduation..(18yrs old)

I think we should stop making playing with dolls so taboo in the teenage years...really.

It's natural to feel that instinct telling you to have babies around that age...but that doesnt mean you have to follow it.

You would be surprised on how many girls could hide it in my school.

When I was a sophmore, there were one girl with twins ((she chose open adoption)), one girl had a little girl ((she is 22 with 3 kids now)).

Then, in my junior year, there were 5 girls pregnant I knew of. One gave up her child to her mother, then had another baby. Another one has two kids at 21 living entirely off government assistance. And the last one is just a pure smurf mother ((following in her own mother's footsteps :/ )) The rest I never really talk to now. It's sad, it really is.

Not one of those women are with the original baby's father.

I couldnt imagine going through a pregnancy when I was a teen. :/ I would defiantly have a shmashmortion.
