My son has bilateral clubbed feet... meaning both.. and hes been in his braces for just over 2 months and ever since he started rolling and kicking more his knees and ankles have been popping loudly... in and out of braces. Doc doesnt seem worried but Im freaking out.

If doc isn't worried, I wouldn't be worried. They mentioned popping but not too bad (maybe because they started eventually slacking on the brace), so perhaps it's related to the adjusting of the bones? My bones have popped like crazy for years so I don't really think of it when someone elses do.

I dont know. hard to tell if he's crying cause he doesn't like having the braces put on or taken off.. or if he's in pain. He doesn't cry much in between.. but he does hate his legs and feet being touched. :/

My son was born with bilateral club feet. He wore casts from 2 days old to 3 months old. He wore the brace at night til about 2.5. He will be 3 next month. I still worry about his feet since I *always* see his feet turning in or he walks weird. My husband says he doesn't see anything different.
We go to his foot dr. in 2 weeks so we'll see what he thinks!
