I was told switch back and forth between tylenol and motrin every 4 hours. And if it last more than 2 days then bring her in.

102 is the medicating temp. 104 that fails to go down with meds is the er temp.

I found some tylenol and gave it to her about 30 minutes ago. Im going to wait another 30-45 minutes to take her temp again to see if it has gone down. When i gave her the tylenol it was up to 103.9.

if i were you if your child has a fever that high she should go to the er. the percentage is high for her to have some sort of illness. its winter now and its that season for sickness. 24 hour bugs are going around too. most of the time when my daughter had a temp rather high she was coming home with antibotics as well. better save then sorry.

Her fever went down a little but it keeps shooting back up. It's 103.2 now and shes just crying or laying around. I'm going to call her doctor and make and appointment.

That is what happened with DD her fever would stay down briefly very frustrating
