Breastfeeding question

So say youre out and about shopping or at the grocery store or whatever and baby decides it's time to eat. What do you do? Where do you go?

Depends. Like if we were at the mall there's usually some place to sit and that's where I'd do it. Grocery shopping there's not very many places to sit so I'd usually end up in the car and hubby would keep shopping til I got back.

Hmm well if it's a clothing store, I used the changing rooms. If it's grocery shopping, I've done both feeding on a bench (my boobs are too big for nursing standing up.. lol) to going in the car and doing it there. I think that it's a lot harder feeding a newborn than an older baby, so I normally like some arm room and a little less traffic.

I plan to breastfeed and pump also and pump before we take baby out in public and have a few bottles handy just in case he gets hungry while we are out. Also, thinking of getting a sling and wearing him so he can feed that way and no one will see my boob or anything so im not worried about "offending" anyone.

I would go to the car and tell someone working there that I was coming back so they didnt empty my cart

There have been times when I'm out with the hubby and I just throw on a cover-up and let baby eat. If that's not convenient go to the car.

depends. if there is a bench some where then I sat. If not the I held her and nursed, or went to the car.

If hubs and I are at Walmart or out somewhere together, I feed him while we're walking around. If I'm going by myself somewhere, I will either feed him right before I leave, or feed him in the truck before I go in.

I feed her when and where she is hungry. If we are out shopping I either pop her out of the cart and feed her if I have someone to push it or just pop the boob out and lean over to feed her if we are by ourselves. If you are worried about being exposed then you can wear a tank top under a t-shirt.
