I ordered something on there Saturday. It still hasn't shipped. I messaged the shop owner yesterday and still no reply.

I'm getting pissed. I know it's only been 5, almost 6 days, but damn... at least answer your emails from customers... especially when you've already taken their money  

If I request a cancellation... is there loopholes or anything I have to jump through to get my money back? Or will it automatically be refunded?

Do they have a policy or anything up? If it says it can take up to "blankity blank" business days to ship, and it hasn't passed that length, it might be harder to get your money back.

Some shops don't have any cancellation policies at all so if this one doesn't, it might be more difficult. If you need to, go through paypal to get your money back.

What did you order? A lot of things on Etsy are handmade, which means there could be a turn around time. I have only bought diapers and blankets and soaps from Etsy, so everything has taken 2-4 weeks.

I don't want to say what I ordered... b/c it's for my Secret Santa on BG   But I think they're handmade.

This is the note at the bottom of my order:

Take a few days to ship... not make. It's been almost 6 days. I just feel awful b/c I've already gotten my gift from my SS, and she hasn't gotten hers from me yet

I'd be kinda upset and I'd hound the owner of the shop. Six days is long enough to have at least returned a message.

Well I had just messaged him yesterday. But after this long... you'd think it'd be at least shipped? Especially with him already having my money

If it is, it should have been marked as shipped on both Etsy and Paypal (I'm assuming you used paypal) so you are able to track it if he did delivery confirmation. This is why I always ship with delivery confirmation. Smurf, I never take more than a week to make AND ship.

Have you emailed the seller? I buy a LOT from WAHMs like this, so I have more of a laid back approach. Email and ask for an update

I paid with my debit card. And it's already been removed from my account (the money). But the site still says ordered on Dec 1st, and Not Shipped. :/

Send another message tonight saying you will be disputing with paypal if you do not have a response by Saturday morning.

I didn't use Paypal, though   I used my debit card.
