my babygirl is finally here!!

I went in Tuesday December 4th at 10:30 am cause my water broke, after going thru 14 hours of labor, I was 8 cm for 2 hours of that and they thought I was on the entering stroke or seizure mood cause I was really confused about everything. I didn't know where I was, why I was there, who my mom/doctor/my baby's father was or anything...I finally had her thru csection at 2:21 am December 5th she was 8 lbs 3 oz and 20 inches!

They thought you were having a stroke, why? It's normal to have no progress for 2 hrs... weird

what did they say would have caused you to have a stroke, and for you to be disorienated... or was it just from too much pain in general... or maybe the drugs? I'm just curious because I never considered something like that during childbirth and it sounds freaky.

She was disoriented, not because she didn't progress.

makes it sound like having been stalled for 2 hrs is a worrisome thing.

& "really confused about everything" doesn't = disoriented. Just weird ass wording, lol.

They thought I was having a stroke because all the sudden I was confused about everything, my progress has nothing to do with it. Its not 'weird ass wording' only if you read it a weird way. They couldn't find anything wrong with me at all, they took blood work, had things hooked up to my chest and also did a cat scan and everything came out fine. My OB thought maybe it was the epurdial that was causing me to be confused but the lady that put the epurdial in said it couldn't have been it. The nurses also thought maybe since I didn't sleep 24 hours prior and I didn't eat since Monday could've been a reason why I was confused.

They didn't say it was....they thought it could be a possibility!!

I remember being all crazy like and smurf during my first labour, but that was because of th gas. I was sucking the smurf outta that thing, they eventually took it off me cause they said It was making me delusional lol.
